Trailer Fender Skirt
Please allow a 7-10 day lead time
RV fender skirts can easily get broken when the tire blows or when the part gets hit by a rock while the trailer is moving. Some even become brittle and crack from weather and sun exposure. To keep our trailer looking its best, you may want to consider the original fender skirt with a high quality UV-protected tandem trailer fender skirt.
These trailer fenders are made with a strong durable plastic material and come in four different colors: White, Tan, Black, and Gray.
Fender skirts are used to deflect flying road debris from trailer body thereby protecting it from damage and the tire from the rebound. They also increase the RV aesthetics as they can be configured and painted to match the color and build of the RV. The outside fender skirts of a trailer can be configured to accommodate single or dual axle trailers with open fenders. The style of an RV fender is determined by how many axles it covers. Single axle RV trailer fenders are more commonly used on Class A, B & C motor homes while tandem trailer fender skirts are typical of the larger fifth wheelers, travel trailers or toy haulers.
A tandem trailer fender skirt includes two rigid members spaced apart adjacent to the inner side of the fender frame between the tire and frame of the vehicle, a flexible skirt extended between the rigid members to form a canopy adjacent at least a portion of the trailer’s tire. To install, Each fender skirt is bolted to its fender in such a way that the skirt is exposed between the trailer and the tire in order to deflect all flying debris that may be thrown up by the tires.
Trailer fender skirts are detachable to allow for changes to the rear tires as well as the installation of snow chains. While automakers have experimented with front wheel fender skirts, their success is limited by the fact that front wheels act as a pivot during steering and therefore they occasionally extend out from the side of the vehicle. To use the fender skirts, the rear tires need to be narrower to fit inside the trailer’s wheel well. They can also be fitted in trailers where the vehicle track is narrower that the body or where the body has what is referred to as the “pulled out” design that accommodates same sized wheels for both the front and rear parts.
The tandem trailer skirts are aesthetically streamlined to reduce drag thus increasing the motor home’s fuel efficiency while adding to its good looks.
When choosing tandem trailer skirts for your trailer, first determine its style by finding out the number of axle it is supposed to cover. Your trailer must have dual axle rear wheel design to fit these tandem fender skirts.
Next confirm that they fit by comparing the length measurements provided in the product images with corresponding length measurements on your RV. Comparing the dimensions to your original skirts is vital. If they fit, all you have to do is to pick the color that will best enhance your RV’s aesthetic value. The new skirts are UV-protected so they won’t crack easily but you can paint them over to suit your taste.

Both fenders were as easy to replace as 1-2-3. I am not a handyman type and I did wonderfully. Not time at all!

I saw only one advertised on the website for $ 99.00, so I needed two and that's what I ordered.
When my order arrived there were four of the fender skirts. I saw nothing on your website
indicating the price was " per pair" therefor I had to return two of them I didn't need. Your website needs to be more exact as to how many you get for the price. I don't think I missed it saying the price was "per pair" but we all make mistakes, and if I did, just disregard my whine.
